Nancy created this original oil painting as a “study” for the large original 30″x48″ Firestone Fire that now hangs in the Firestone tasting room. Firestone Vineyard overlooks the southern end of spectacular Foxen Canyon in the Santa Barbara Wine Country. Follow Foxen Canyon Road north from CA 154 and you will find this ideal spot to watch the sun set behind the winery.
Original Oil on Canvas: 18″x24″; Framed: 22″x28″
This painting was also a “study” for the large 36″x48″ “Midsummer Shade at Foley Estates” that hangs in the Foley tasting room. Located in the beautiful Santa Barbara wine country, the Santa Rita Hills are now recognized as ideal for Pinot Noir. This unusual east-west valley allows early morning Pacific Ocean fogs to travel inland – cooling the vines and preserving their flavor. Foley Estates sits amongst California Oaks in this most auspicious wine growing area.

Situated in the Santa Barbara wine country, with spectacular views of the California coast, Bacara sits in Italianate splendor. This painting reminds us that our climate is called Mediterranean for a reason.
